Accommodation

Ufton Court has sleeping accommodation for 39 people in spacious, mainly dormitory style bedrooms, all with shared facilities of shower or bath, toilets and washbasins. All bedding is provided unless groups choose to bring sleeping bags.

The house has 3 adjoining reception rooms including the Great Hall which has a minstrels gallery.

The recently restored Tithe Barn provides a large well equipped area ideal for performances and activities requiring a large amount of space; it can also be used for a celebratory meal, banquet or party.

Catering

The Court has two dining rooms and can feed up to 60 people. Groups can be catered, self catering or a combination of both. All food is prepared on site to a high standard.

Facilities

Ufton Court has 16 acres of picturesque gardens which include medieval fishponds, a herb garden and a large walled sunken garden which is a natural amphitheatre for many different types of performances. There are superb walks from the Court through extensive woodland and on country footpaths.

For those requiring more action, mountain biking, orienteering and archery are available on site plus excellent canoeing and kayaking activities are within walking distance.

Whilst staying at Ufton Court your group will have sole use of the house. You will be welcomed by the House Manager, who lives in a house on the site and is on call at all times.

Groups are responsible for their own first aid cover and a mandatory fire drill is carried out with every course.
