Gift Aid

Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. This means that £100 can be turned into £125, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

For your donations to be eligible for Gift Aid you must pay an amount of income tax and/ or capital gains tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the tax that Ufton Court Educational Trust reclaims on your donations in the same tax year.

If you pay higher rate tax you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.
Thankyou, your help is very much appreciated.

Where do donations go?

There are two key areas that we are seeking support for:

Our Bursary Fund:

We aim to make Ufton accessible to all children regardless of their financial circumstances. We work closely with schools and help fund the cost for children who would otherwise be unable to visit. £80.00 pays for a child's overnight stay at Ufton, £10.00 funds a child to attend a costumed Tudor banquet, £5.00 pays for a child's meal.

Ufton Adventure:

This is our major capital appeal, supporting local disadvantaged children. Each cabin costs about £100,000.  Donations can be made to whole cabins down to individual planks and even nails. Become part of this ambitious and life changing project by donating however small an amount towards our vision.
