Where the grants come from
The Ufton Court Educational Trust funds the bursary scheme through various fund raising events. We believe everyone should be able to have the opportunity to access the educational activities available at Ufton Court.

What the Bursary Scheme Provides:
The Bursary Scheme provides young people with a valuable opportunity to participate in the rich learning experiences available at Ufton Court regardless of economic circumstances. Ufton Court will provide each selected bursary student with between 20% to 80% of their course fee. We liaise closely with schools to distribute the bursaries appropriately, making sure the money supports those children most in need.

Entry Requirements:

In selecting applicants to receive awards, preference will be given to schools who have significant numbers of their pupils receiving free school meals. It will also be expected that schools demonstrate that they have raised some funds themselves.

Children from the local area and those whose families receive any of the following will also be given preference:

Child Tax Credit
Income Support
Working Families Tax Credit
Free school meals
A Looked After Child
Young Carers

We reserve the right to request evidence from the school or the family that they are eligible to receive or are in receipt of the benefits that you have declared above.

Completed applications are accepted throughout the year. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their requests within a month of receiving them.
