Ufton Court is a delightful house full of opportunities for exploration and discovery. A dedicated team runs the house as an educational centre for children and young people, providing a very special atmosphere of welcome, inspiration and challenge. Ufton deserves to be better known and supported for the exciting educational opportunities on offer here.
The awards are made by the Heritage Education Trust and are judged by a panel of professional educationalists. The scheme encompasses 200 historic sites within the UK and Ireland, including historic houses, museums, galleries, cathedrals, places of worship, gardens, and landscapes. It recognises high standards in education services and facilities for school groups, excellence in interpretation and a contribution to the understanding of local and national heritage.

Ufton Court has been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge
Awarded 2010
The Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge provides for the first time a national accreditation combining the essential elements of provision – learning and safety – into one easily recognisable and trusted Quality Badge for all types of Learning Outside the Classroom provider organisations. The LOtC Quality Badge lets schools know which providers deliver good quality teaching and learning experiences and manage risk effectively.
Ufton Court has been awarded the Adventuremark

Adventuremark is a safety scheme devised by the Adventure Activity Industry Advisory Committee (AAIAC) for providers of adventurous activities. Adventuremark allows providers to demonstrate to their users that the provider's arrangements for managing the potential risks of adventure activities have been inspected and found to meet the necessary standards of good practice in the adventure activity industry.
