Day Visits
At Ufton Court learning comes vividly to life as children explore this rich source of historical, environmental and outdoor learning opportunities. Ufton Court is a flexible resource and schools, helped by the experienced teaching staff at Ufton, tailor a programme to meet their specific requirements.
Here are details about the facilities available and some general information about our visits:
- Your base for the day will usually be the Tithe Barn, which has toilets and is heated or the Archery Range which has heating and external toilets
- A timber-framed Tudor house to explore incorporating an earlier medieval manor house
- Set in 16 acres of beautiful grounds, surrounded by private woodland giving ample space for games and outside activities
- Tea & Coffee supplied for all accompanying adults
- The children should bring their own drinks and lunches and adequate footwear and clothes suitable for all weathers
- On request we can provide packed lunches for your children at the price of £3.00 per lunch. The lunch bag will include: a round of sandwiches (choice of cheese, ham or tuna), a piece of fruit, a kit kat and a carton of drink
- Children must bring a second pair of clean shoes (plimsolls, trainers) to put on if they will be going into the house
- An Ufton Court teacher will be allocated to you for some or all of the duration of your visit. House tours are subject to availability and will be led by an Ufton Court teacher
